Charles Tyrwhitt (pronounced “Tirrit” by the way) was founded in 1986 by Nicholas Charles Tyrwhitt Wheeler with a clear mission: to make better shirts, at better value than anybody else.
Since those humble origins, CT has made a commitment to ensure that our clothing is built to last, using only the finest materials sourced from every corner of the globe, not to mention local producers here in Britain.

A global multi-channel retailer, Charles Tyrwhitt has now launched in the UK, USA, Germany and Australia. Over the past five years the business has grown significantly, after opening the first store on London’s world-famous Jermyn Street in 1997, CT now has over 26 stores globally.
Over the next 12 months we are developing our multi-channel offering, with new store openings planned, as well as launching offline and web campaigns in several new markets.
This means there will plenty of exciting opportunities within the company in the near future as our international growth develops
